The village of Vyšný Medzev is situated in the Košice region, in the heart of Slovenské
rudohorie which is a mountain complex in the eastern part of Slovakia.
The village is surrounded by hills and valleys, forests full of berries and colorful
flowers and trees. It is an ideal place for tranquil and relaxing time.

The village of Vyšný Medzev is a very busy place to visit. There is a Village hall
dating from the 17th century which is now a place there the village offices are. The
local Roman catholic church of St. Maria Magdaléna was built in the baroque-classic
style and is now being renovated.
